hoping to see that satellite coming down tomorrow morning...also hoping not to get squished.
the odds are getting better (worse?) every day....last week the odds of getting hit were something like 1 in 450 million...2 days later 1 in 100,000. I just heard it is now 1 in 3,200. gravity & myself have never been the best of friends.

nasa says it aint comin down here , but ...
"The science of predicting where a tumbling satellite is going to fall is tricky. The Earth’s atmosphere puffs up and deflates depending on how strong the Sun is shining on a particular day, and that phenomenon speeds or slows the rate of falling. If a calculation is off by half an hour, the falling satellite has already traveled 1/3 of the way around the world."
i remember a lot of buzz in 1979 when skylab cam down . i was so hoping it would take out my school .
http://www.wired.com/science/discoverie ... ntPage=all
theres buzz in the tinfoil hat community that this is going to spawn a zombie attack / plague spores , shtf scenario . something about a mock drill in denver on the 27th , eleninny's , bunkers , and all sorts of illuminaughtiness .

guitar lessons with deet , she is getting better .
plus gomti found my maestro Frank Zappa-1 fuzz box in storage the other day . its like the first fuzz box or something , it doesnt bloom , well maybe a tiny bit and if you set it up right you can get a flutey tone with it , pretty sweet , i wonder what its worth .
its the "satisfaction" fuzz .

*happy dance*
I heard it's gonna be one episode for each character...I can't wait for gob & buster's.
I hope SOME of the rumors are true about the movie...my fav so far is the one that the family is pissed about ron howard doing the show about them, so they decide to do their own show to 'tell the truth.' it'll be a crime if jesse eisenberg doesn't play michael cera.
DIZZY KITTY!

saw the 2 of a perfect pair tour tonight at the old town school of folk music . great venue , Tony Levins band Stick Men , (he plays a stick)opened up , and then the adrian belew power trio . the do seperate sets , then the unite and do some king crimson tunes .
holy cow was that an excellent show !
best double drumming i ever saw , pat mostaletto , and this new guy belew has , forget his name but the dude was as good as the last guy (marco minneman) . he has a girl that absolutely dominates the bass , Julie Slick , really something else . i cant tell you how much i enjoyed the show , and i am not a huge crimson fan . the other dude in stick men is this german cat named markus , he built this 8 stringed warr guitar thing . dude is super talented . he sounded fantastic doing the robert fripp stuff , playing guitar parts and bass stuff . had a ton of fx goin on , triggering samples . pat has a bunch of gizmos too . it was just too much . Tony Levin on stick , markus on an 8 string , julie tearin it up , belew with his new setup , and then two amazing drummers .
i gave adrian one of my noisemaker gizmos , a slide synth . he was happy , he told me he loves toys , and said "thank you Mr. Petey Twofinger . "
he had a time figuring it out , so for that one moment i was actually BETEER than adrian belew on a musical instrument . never thought that would be the case , but for how long , he is prolly in the buss shredding some stravinsky on it right now .

the 80's stuff , i really dig that , discipline , 3pp , beat . i got a bunch of video of that shit . its way ahead of its time !
the 90's double trios never really panned out to its fullest , but there are some real gems in there as well .
basically i really do dig em quite a bit , but ades older solo shit takes the cake for me . those to me are really special . belew is going to be going back to "normal" songwriting again , he already cut a buncha tracks , i'm thrilled about that . the sides were really good , but a lil too crim-esque , not as focused / moving as his older works for my tastes .

my buddy was hanging out at the office, he had his 70 chevelle parked out front and this little old lady wobbles in... wearing an old lady visor, crazy purple sweater, typical little old lady gear... and she says "that is a beautiful motherfucking car. i used to have one of those, and that son of a bitch had some balls! my shit for brains brother in law borrowed it and wrapped it around a big fucking tree in carmel. dumb ass."
old ladies who swear give me the giggles.
