I'm not sure which is my highlight, so I'll say it's a tie between spending too much money today while shopping and being in the kitchen with Giovanni making pastieras for Easter together.

i updated VLC media player tonight and the new version includes an audio compressor !

i have been moaning about that for years . now i can watch movies and tv at all hours of the morning without having to constantly jerk the volume up and down with the mouse . yea VLC !!!!

it has an eq as well but it is a bit off the path to save the all the settings once you set that boy is it nice .

if you dont know what a compressor does it makes it so you can hear when they wisper on a movie , and turns it down when there is explosions and loud shit goin on . like an automatic engineer .

cut a stereo boost circuit into my latest amp . this fucker is LOUD now , for its size .
i was kinda chicken about it , and tired of building that thing , its cram packed already .
glad its done .

now i have to program some patches and do the video then it'll be finished .

really weird though , i screwed up a ground jumper but it worked for 2 days , then i swapped a stereo pot cap combo out and it quit . saw my mistake after i ripped a trannie out ... What the fuck , how was this thing workin with no ground ?

almost finished with the portable amp project . wrapping up the P.A. this week . i will still need to make a fuzz box for the cb mic , and maybe a delay or two . waiting on parts sucks . i am curios how long the sla's (batterys) will hold out ...

the pedal that i was having a hard time getting painted is drying , on its 3rd day ... woo hoo .

gonna be doing a compressor pedal for my rig soon , then back to some really goofy sounding stuff .
