Pity you're shocking at the fantasy game then, innit?

Almost had tears in my eyes. That was incredible.
I'm surprised no one called the police after that second goal.
I was a bit loud.

Shit.
Arsenal's dramatic win over Manchester United has been tempered considerably with news that Robin van Persie has broken the fifth metatarsal in his right foot.
The Dutchman has been nursing injury all week and after the clash at Emirates Stadium, his manager Arsene Wenger spoke of how he had not wanted his striker to play any part.
However, with Arsenal struggling for an equaliser, Wenger had no alternative other than to employ his top goalscorer, who responded by converting an 84th minute leveller.
His goal has, though, come at a real cost as Arsenal have confirmed that in scoring he broke the little toe on his right foot, in an injury that will likely see him sidelined for a considerable period.
Thierry Henry sealed Arsenal's victory with a stunning header three minutes into the injury time but it seems likely any jubilation in North London will be dulled by news of Van Persie's injury.

I'm truly maintaining you can finish second this year. Arsenal are the form team of the league right now, in the midst of one of their little sublime runs they put together once or twice a season. Tie this in with the fact that Chelsea are horribly depleted defensively and their midfield is suffering from Lampard/Ballsack's inability to adapt to each other (reminiscent of England with Gerrard) the gap will surely be made up.
Rosicky really should have scored five goals as much as Eboue really should be shot for his antics in trying to get reactions out of players. Van Persie's injury will hurt, particularly if Hleb keeps throwing in fizzers like last night.
I'm predicting some painful viewing on Thursday morning when I have to get up at 6.00am for the Cup leg.

We can cope with RVP's injuries with Adebayor partnering Henry to a better effect, though RVP is prolific. I feel that Baptista is yet to really put on his dancing shoes for us in the full team and can make an impact in Robin's absence. Watching Liverpool v Chelsea, I felt that Mourhino lost that game to prove a point, that the board should have bought him a defender (an issue which stems back to Kenyon's selling of Gallas at the death of the opening transfer window which followed the sale of Hooth, which meant it was too late to sign a defender in time). If he continues trying to prove his point, well, he'll be gone (probably will anyhow now) then second is plausible.

Toasty, have you seen the black Arsenal keeper shorts on sale anywhere?

I got the email, Toasty. Thanks for trying.
Why wouldn't they make the black kit?
It's the best keeper kit I've ever seen.

I agree. I quite like it and I really want to dress like Lehmann who is the most cool person on Ze Earthz!
Instead I'll get me this:
In green.

Kirkland's look is fantastic.
That should be the Arsenal wallpaper of the month.

The pundits here are disgusted by Henry's reaction after their own goal. I felt it was apt and deserved. Those pundits need a fucking knitting club, not football.

I thought it was awesome. Those beer-bellied refs will give a yellow card for anything except where it is deserved.

Arsenal really are getting that system of scaring the goals down now. It seems the whole team has got it figured out now.

Mais non, Arsenal don't need to score to win. Just their high-speed, quick pass, dynamic football is enough.

For the neutral maybe...but for us on the heart attack list...buncha cunts are trying to kill me.

Damn right. I grabbed my chest a few times in the last month or two.
Rosicky is tops on the trying to kill me list.
His misses are just as exciting as most peoples goals.

Just IMAGINE if that little Fabregas/Rosicky combo has gone into the net...

Imagine if we could win when Henry is in the team. We'd like win and stuff.

You mean, like, by scoring goals?
I hope Big Willy hits his straps in the near future. It looked a shambles back there against PSV.

by Eviltoastman
Yeah they put Billy into his most alien defensive position, didn't look fit or confident. All problems second half stemmed from a lack in belief in him being there. See the shambles in that zone? Mah Gawd!

Tonight's match should be interesting in terms of the line-up, particularly the forward set-up.
A 4-5-1 formation with Baptista sitting behind Alidiare? Or is that just madness?
