It took about 15 times before it worked on me.
I've heard that with other people as well. "This stuff just doesn't work on me, I'm immune"
If that's the case then you just have to get back on that horse and keep trying it.
I know it sounds like a lot of work but you got to trust me that there is a payoff.

petey/alfred, watch julien donkey-boy next.
in a nutshell, it focuses on harmony's schizophrenic uncle (played by ewen bremner).
werner herzog is on the cast as well. harmony filmed this one using multiple cameras,
some of which were hidden upon rolling.

this is my second favorite korine film.

That's a good one, Kristen really wants to see it so I'll be Netfixing it soon.
Something about Trash Humpers makes me want to try Inland Empire again.

Also I just read how they did TH. They lived in those outfits and masks and stayed in character for two weeks straight. Sounds like a blast.

also...
harmony korine wrote:I remember when I was a child there was a small group of elderly people who would hang out in the back alleys and under bridges by my house. They always seemed to be getting drunk and dancing. One night I looked out my bedroom window and saw a group of them humping trash cans and laughing. It sounded like they were speaking a strange invented language. This is a movie about them.

harmony also released some copies of TH (I am not sure how many) on recorded-over
vhs tapes sealed in plastic bags. he wanted it to resemble some strange artifact
left behind in a basement or something.

now if he would just release fight harm, I could smile again.

BATTLE: LA wants to be Independence Day riffing off Aliens, in an urban setting with soldiers-are-awesome machismo, it just about pulls it off.

6/10 - popcorn movie rammed with cliches.

battle l.a. suffered from the war of the worlds type easy out ending .

it was still pretty fun , a few to many war movie cliches , it did kinda seem like an ad for the marines at points .

So recent it's not out yet.

Hey Mitch! Will Farrell is in a comedy based on a Raymond Carver short story!

.....yeah!..... :?

I seriously doubt this will be the film that makes me not hate him.

But Stephen Root is in it!

It looks like Stranger than Fiction without all the comedy.

Hanna: don't bother
It's flashy, and catchy, and has a great lead
But doesn't hang together or engage much as a movie
All these sub-Kill Bills now popping up

i saw someone had recommended that , somewhere .

i read the tagline , and it sounded like it might resemble this one

http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0110413/

sounds like i was wrong , is it trashy ?

Not in the same league
It's not bad, it's OK, but could have been so much more
There is too much chasing around and not enough plot, character
