That just sounds fucking retarded. Nothing so far has managed, but a shitty fuckin rap metal band's reformation gig past their prime is gonna be what gets bush.
God I hate this fucking band!
No need for spleen, Mobes. I think he's being sar-cah-stic.
That... that
is supposed to be sarcasm, right?
Please, God, tell me he's being sarcastic...

I agree with you in part.
I think the band themselves are very good at drawing attention to their causes, but that rarely seems to amount to much because their fans roll up to the concert, get all inspired and righteous, then go home, smoke a bowl, play Xbox and forget all about it.
Next morning, business as usual. It never seems to amount to much more than noise: The Stock Exchange closing down - what, in the end did that achieve? The Democratic National Convention? It gets Rage's name out there, but not much else.
I am, of course, generalising horrifically. And just to dig myself in further, I'm going to throw in a Chali 2na lyric:
Got people screamin' free Umi and Jamal
But two out of three of ya'll will probably be at the mall
Topical!

Depends on how you look at it, I consider what they've done to be a small part of a big change that needs to occur.
As a highschool student, I would have never known about any of the issues they talked about if I didn't listen to them, knowledge must come before change.
nobody can change the political world (positively) overnight, rage aren't saving the world, but they have a very loud voice and if they're using it for good, why hate? Much better than jeff standing in his driveway yelling "stop the war!"

Just because you're an ignorant half-wit doesn't make them informative. You could get more information from ten minutes of a class, two pages of a book, than you could from the entire Rage catalog.

1. Would you have stated it if not for my post?
2. Do you know what a counterpoint is?

1. I don't do that.
2. If I did, it would be exactly as effective as Rage. That is to say, not effective at all.
