so...I've been running around on a suspended driver's license for years because of 2 unpaid tickets...about 8 years. I finally got popped a bit ago. this time I decided it might be in my best interest to take care of it, cause fuck goin to jail. they agreed to pretty much drop all the charges if I just get my license back.
it was literally 3 days trying to get through on the phone to an actual person at the court, but I eventually did. the girl had almost as little information about me or the tickets as I did. after saying "I don't know" about 100 times she tells me to request an "abstract waiver" and give them a $10 check for the processing fee. I just called the dmv...no holds on the license...I just have to pay the renewal fee.

weird!, i went to the dmv yesterday to renew my license, 2.5hrs in line, got a number!!, 40 more min waiting, my turn, then the chikk says i have a failure to appear from 2004! What the fuck!??....so they purged it.
