Great movie. Almost flawless.
The final, searing scene is brilliant. A perfect crescendo where you realise the true face of an inscrutable character.

Three replies?
You sure you didn't accidentally change your username to redundant retard when you posted that?
Watching the final scene made me want to eat two Salisbury steaks with my hands.

The music that is right at the beginning of Gorillaz "Demon Days" album is in the soundtrack
I think it's an oboe

The Midnight Meat Train
best horror of the year .
http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0805570/
on demand on fearnet , and i beleive the dvd is out .
based on a clive barker short story that you may read here :
http://groups.msn.com/BloodyTheater/boo ... 1802844189
about a fifteen minute read . i would say watch the flick first then read the story .
stars Vinnie Jones as the bad guy aka Big Chris from Lock, Stock and Two Smoking Barrels (the guy with the kid) . super gore , good scares , ramps up as it goes , decent ending . it seems good horror is only rarer than good comedy . check this one out .
the finished product is just the garbage left over from doing the work.

I think I might have read it back in the day, I've read most of the Books of Blood. I've always liked Barker's work.
