Clutch are putting the finishing touches on their new album "Strange Cousins From The West". The album was produced by both the band and J. Robbins (Clutch, Shiner) and will see a July 07th release date through the groups own Weathermaker Music label. In addition, a video is in the works for the albums first single "50,000 Unstoppable Watts" and will be made available by the months end. Also of note for the album is the Poppo's Blues Band cover, "Algo Ha Cambiado", a track which sees Clutch's Neil Fallon sing in Spanish. Beyond the album, the band have revealed that they plan to tour for the rest of the year. New dates to be announced include the following UK/European trek:
June 13th Sheffield, UK - Corporation
June 14th Donington, UK - Download Festival
June 15th London, UK - HMS Hammer Gig Boat to Metal Hammer Golden Gods Awards
June 16th Portsmouth, UK - Wedgewood Rooms
June 17th Newport, UK - TJ's
June 18th Leeds, UK - Cockpit
June 19th Glasgow, UK - King Tut's
June 21st Utrecht, NET - De Helling
June 22nd Esch-sur-Alzette, LUX - Kulturfabrik
June 23rd Koln, GER - Underground
June 24th Hamburg, GER - Molotow
June 25th Berlin, GER - Knaak
A July U.S. headlining run with Baroness as direct support will also be taking place, with more details to be revealed shortly.

Beale Street was too much a of a sprint for a band as good as Clutch.

Clutch's new album "Strange Cousins From The West" has been pushed back to a July 14th release date through the bands own Weathermaker Music label. The band have explained the delay as being a cause of "circumstances outside of the control of the band."
