my cousin in vegas loves them.

we went to see them and nine inch nails couple years back...luckly for me nin took the stage first. when jane's took the stage I lasted about 3 songs and then went to the bar to wait for him.
but he was soo happy at the end the drummer threw his drum sticks and my cousin caught one. So even thought I don't like them I was happy for him. 8)

I saw them on that tour, NIN were really good. Tight band, stripped down, got the job done admirably.

Then Jane's Addiction came on. And the world turned to shit. The worst part, apart from the ghastly, pompous, flatulent too loud tuneless music was Perry Farrell telling us this, this reunion show of has-beens (the bassist totally did NOT want to even be there), was gonna be some crazy trip, a lifechanging psychedelic orgy for which we were invited to lose our minds and go fucking crazy. This, in a venue where the New Jersey state troopers routinely arrest dozens of concert-goers for having pot or being mildly intoxicated. Showed the nitwit is totally out of touch with reality and trading on utter idiocy. Offensive, really.

wait a minute. you're right.

I don't remember the exact date... but that had to be the night I broke my favorite beer glass doing dishes.

i recently just found my favorite beer glass.
it was actually my favorite chocolate milk glass when i was little.
it's a cowboy boot. when i drink beer from it i can't help but think of 'das boot' in beer fest.

and i like janes addiction, but with the original bass player. rus gave me a cd, i think it was left with the ex-wife, of janes without perry. that was pretty good.

now that is what I like to see... childhood goodies that stick by your side into adulthood.
it is like the lord is putting a formfitting microchip into your father's (one special) seed.

that seed, obviously enough is you.

Mr John likes a couple of their songs and has never seen them live.

The same applies to so many other bands.

One of my favourite bands. Ritual De Lo Habitual is an amazing album.

I've seen them 3 times, twice with the original lineup...and they blew me away every time...

Jane's are nice live for about the first 20 minutes, especially if they do Caught Stealin'.

Then it's..."nice outfit Perry"..."yeah, Dave is till pretty hot"......"eat some lard, Perry"...."*checks watch*"

etc

NIN were better than I thought they would be - more melodic/rhythmic than I expected. That was still the one time I would bother going though... :| Reznor has zero charisma

janes broke up in 92-93.

what's been circulating around since then is a complete joke. it doesn't matter if eric's back or not...complete & total joke....it's on you if you waste your time.
