After years of contemplation I have finally settled with the fact that Dieselhed is the best Mr. Bungle related band.

last week i played some old cds at a party
and they were on them...it felt fucking amazing and stupid at the same time cause i forget about bands all the time but yeah.. dieselhed..!
some dickheads werent happy about it but at least they didn't have ridiculous beards/bands/usernames

You only disagree because you are under the assumption that Shanghai is a Mr. Bungle related band. Mr. Louise, I find it most unfortunate to inform you that just because you like them and have met members of Mr. Bungle and own their albums, Shanghai is not a related band. I am sorry. I'd agree they're second best after SC3. Dieselhead is about the best alt-country I've ever heard, and I've heard plenty. Jim White anybody?

I'm just curious as to what Virgil Shaw has been doing the last few years. Seems at least two years since there has been an update at his site. Several years since he has released anything. So sad. Love his Hank Williams/Randy Travis vocals.
