Re: highlight of your day?
my 250 gig garbage picked hard drive gave me the "i am getting full message " today .
i had an external one TB drive with no power supply that my brother found and gave me .
hooked up an ATX connector and plugged it into the pc power supply (this thing takes 5 and 12 dc) and it worked !
the hd is full of homemade music , looks like christian stuff , and a bunch of software for music production . ill have to go through it now and see if anything is worth keeping on the software side .
woo free hard drives !
thats a tb and a half in the last year thanks to the juke box server i got .

the finished product is just the garbage left over from doing the work.

A bowl of bran buds this morning. Yes, a high-fiber breakfast has been the highlight of my day today.

Whenever I see that cereal, I think about how that would be the name of my fan club.

I bought a Filter CD once because I needed a spare jewel case. I left the insert and the cd in on the counter at HMV and told the assistant to put it in the bin. Are they any good? This belongs in music.

Re: highlight of your day?
A few okay songs I guess, fair bit of filler on the albums. He's just got a new album out now: an old guy + three emo kids as his backing band = crabcore + autotune

Re: highlight of your day?
I just mentioned on the Filter facebook page that I thought the use of autotune on the new album a-la Cher/Baha Men/Attack Attack/T-Pain was pretty lame.Rado wrote:uncooked meat wrote:Being berated by Richard Patrick of Filter on Facebook.

Re: highlight of your day?
ok now, if I join
can I get all of my wal-mart items at rollback prices?
that would be a real perk.
oh, speaking of perks...
I got a coffee pot at wal-mart over the weekend.
it was originally 27 and some change, but this particular model
(mr coffee 12 cup) was marked down to 18 bucks!
I was all like
but then I put it in my wal-mart basket
and the handles on the basket would not come together
making the basket an awkward carry for the duration of my shopping spree.
for a second I was all
maybe I shoulda got a cart
, and then I was all NAH,
I am not going to be in here all day. I DO have a life, (I think
)

I could have got you a 10% discount! We'd just have to pretend we were really friendly, and I'd have to pay, and then you'd have to pay me back in the parking lot out of sight of the surveillance cameras.hepatitis candelabra wrote:ok now, if I join

Little hint- this is the best time of year to buy bath towels! There's a surprisingly nice towel model on ROLLBACK for $2.20! If you get a middle aged lady cashier who just wants to talk about her grown children, you can distract her into miscounting and get 4 for the price of 3!! That's $2.20 x 3 - my 66 cent discount = like, less than $6 for 4 towels!
