meh. least appealing/most vanilla record from this band.
my ideal fanto-setlist would be as follows
back in black
youth gone wild
wango tango
love stinks
if life is a highway
old time rock-n-roll
flirtin' with disaster
once bitten twice shy
unskinny bop
bad medicine
ballroom blitz
ENCORE!!!
armageddon it
neutron dance
when the saints go marching in
wake up, fanto-fans, you are being bootyhole fucked with no crisco.

I like Behold...The Arctopus. Much better than Krallice.
I don't really like Fantomas: it was amusing he came out with this after FNM, and The Director's Cut had a couple of good songs on it. But this joke is well past its sell-by date.
Mostly the band is let down by Buzzo's shitty guitar playing: he's good for Melvins (was good, I mean), but in Fantomas his noisy, sloppy playing is just a distraction.

it will be interesting what comes out of the "all electronic" thing . i have always really enjoyed them live quite a bit . but i really dug the directors cut , and the debut .
the finished product is just the garbage left over from doing the work.

Here's what I'm excited for most, in order...
1. Neil Hamburger's commentary
2. Having another high quality Fantomas audio performance
3. The DVD feature itself
Why did no one ever rip the audio from Live in London in an acceptable way? The audio rip I here always sounds like trash.

I'm kind of hesitant to buy though cause I don't even know who's going to be carrying it and don't want to waste the trip.
Best Buy?
Wal-Mart?
FYE?

I can't find it.
Buying stuff is fun sometimes, we should have a Bungle BBS buy-the-DVD day, it will be a fun time for everyone.
But someone still needs to leak the audio version, I'm not paying for that as well.
