Dreams in a witch house - Pretty fucking good I think. Just 1 hour long, from the "Masters of Horror" series. One of the first horror movies in a long time that actually made me a little frightened. Based on Lovecrafts short-story.

No need for the picture. I would have recognized that sentence right away.
The way he says those words....
I like the Wall. Even better than the band, but hey... its the 80s were talking about here. Also know as the golden age of films.

The big Lebowski is simply brilliant. Jesus should be a role model for kids everywhere.
But:
Silent Running: Oh my g*d! Rebel hippy in space. It could perhaps have been okey, but... it fails miserably.

I just saw Simpsons the Movie. I enjoyed it, all though it was a bit short. The story fails to build up properly, and there isnt really a climax. Its over before it has begun. Watch it, and youll understand what I mean. I was also hoping for bigger parts to several of the bicharacters, like Moe, the sea captain, Mr Burns, Troy McClure, Old Gill, Lionel Hutz, Rainer Wolfcastle, Duffman, etc etc... I belive most of the characters were shown, but they could have done more with it.
But still; this movie if a facelift to the last couple of seasons. Hopefully they will get back on track, and continue to create the greatest tv series of all time.

Judas: It's so full of hippy crap that I just couldn't help but laugh. And I'm kind of partial to calling myself a friend of nature myself. It's just that I find it a bleak quasi-copy of 2001, just with added political propoganda, less than impressive acting and really a very boring synopsis. I do think the idea is pretty good, especially in these times with focus on the environment and such, but I found Silent Running to be a good idea that simply fails to live up to it's premises.

O Brother didnt quite do it for me... I cant put my finger on why. Im actually rating Intolerable Cruelty above O Brother. After that, it was all downhill...judasmuppet";p="899177 wrote:Miller's Crossing for me, with Big Lebowski, Fargo and O Brother following in no particular order, then maybe Barton Fink.
