that may be a sign of a leak .
check the upper and lower hoses , they always fail on the bottom , right where they attach to the radiator , just past the clamp .
run it till hot , get gloves and pull up a little on each hose (wear goggles stand back , carefull ) , if its cracked steam will shoot out . you can cut it right were the crack is , and put em back on , till you get a new one , or dont bother if they are long enough , but .
sometimes the radiators fail around the intake / output , pinholes form that only leak when really hot . get bars stop leak brass . its like 3 bucks . stuff works pretty good , but sometimes requires a few applications .
i have fixed plenty of cars with these problems , usually the cooling system fails at the first cold snap . specially thermostats , another 10 dollar or less part that you can fix in 15 minutes , two bolts and a clamp . if the car over heats or the heater doesnt blow hot = bad themostat . very simple repair . some of shops will sell you a water pump job for mucho dinero , and just put in a thermostat or a hose .
the finished product is just the garbage left over from doing the work.
